McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act
The School District of Spencer is dedicated to supporting students and families facing housing instability. Under the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act, students qualify for assistance if they lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime living situation—including those staying temporarily with others due to financial hardship or loss of housing.
We are committed to removing obstacles to learning and graduation while helping families access essential resources. To learn more about your rights and available services, reach out directly to your School Counselor or The School District of Spencer’s Liaison.
